Hospital based, Crisis Clinician (Evenings)

The Hospital-Based Crisis Clinician at South Shore Hospital Integrated Services plays a critical role in delivering exceptional behavioral health services to our community. This fast-paced position offers the opportunity to develop comprehensive diagnostic and clinical skills working with a broad population, including both children and adults. The clinician works under the guidance of an experienced Program Director and receives clinical supervision for each client.

Competitive salary plus $8/hour shift differential for working on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday-Friday 8pm-8am!

Choose from the following schedules:

  • Sun, Tues, Thurs 1p-1a; 
  • Weds-Sat 1p-11p
  • Monday- Friday 3p-11p

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other mental health discipline
  • Training in assessing adults in crisis, as well as competency in assessing children and their families in crisis
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a Crisis Intervention setting or related field placement is preferred
  • Experience in a hospital or integrated care setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols
  • Experience in providing follow-up and referral services to ensure continuity of care
