The License Practical Nurse (LPN) at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in overseeing the quality of health and nursing care for individuals served by Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. This involves understanding the particular needs of each individual within the program; making sure our employees and health care providers are attending to all needs identified and complying with state regulations and Aspire policies and procedures; training and educating all parties on essential health related matters; and providing on-going consultation and support to the individuals, staff, providers, coordinators and family/guardians. The LPN may part of the staffing minimums within the group homes.
- Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and system.
- Ability to pass and maintain required trainings.
- Must possess an active nursing license in the state in which you’re working.
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
