The Role

As a Director of Revenue Operations, this individual will lead and refine all facets of our Sales and Revenue Operations processes, ensuring strong alignment across our GTM teams and driving long-term, scalable growth. They’ll be a trusted partner to our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Legal, and Finance teams, bringing a strategic and analytical approach to identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that will help us make informed, impactful decisions. Their work will focus on optimizing systems and processes to support our revenue goals, blending big-picture strategy with a hands-on approach to execution. This role is ideal for someone energized by fast-paced environments and who can think critically while delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

Data & Analytics

  • Revenue & Pipeline Forecasting: Develop and manage forecasting models, providing executive team updates on revenue and pipeline status.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reports to track sales funnel efficiency and GTM effectiveness.
  • GTM Performance Insights: Manage revenue specific OKRs in partnership with the VP of Finance to ensure comprehensive insights into GTM performance.
  • Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with Finance on pricing models (e.g., subscription, usage-based, tiered) to optimize revenue and customer lifetime value.
  • Commission Strategy & Quota Planning: Work with Sales, Finance, and People leadership on commission strategies and quota setting to align incentives with performance outcomes.

Strategy, Process Implementation & Optimization

  • System Development Roadmap: Create and execute a roadmap for system enhancements, focusing on stability, data integrity, scalability, and process optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead initiatives to improve pipeline generation, customer lifecycle management, and retention strategies across GTM teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure transparent communication of system updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Sales Processes & Program Design: Design and implement sales processes and programs, including core business cadences around All Hands and operational metrics.
  • Deal Desk Oversight: Oversee the Deal Desk function to streamline deal management and improve process efficiency.

Sales & Marketing Tools Management

  • Salesforce and Marketo Optimization: Partner with Salesforce and Marketo administrators to optimize the system and other sales tools, focusing on data quality, process consistency, reporting, and overall system efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Team Alignment: Act as a liaison across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure GTM team alignment in driving revenue.
  • Enablement Resources: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop training programs, playbooks, and resources that enhance team productivity and performance.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Revenue Operations Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing Revenue Operations team, focusing on skill development, career growth, and effective mentorship to support Aspire’s growth trajectory.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue or Sales Operations in SaaS, software, or technology environments.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise sales and marketing tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
  • An ownership mindset with adaptability to work hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hyper growth startup environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing Revenue Operations teams.
  • Located in Mountain/Pacific time zones and able to support a fully remote organization across multiple time zones

Compensation

The base salary for this role is between $155,000 - $175,000.

  • Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.
