Targeting Analyst - CI

Assertive Professionals is in search of a Targeting Analyst to support our National Security Customer in Ft. Meade, MD.

This position provides 80 hours of paid leave annually, accrued throughout the year plus 11 federal holidays.  Paid leave accruals vary by contract and are established based on customer requirements and the contractual level of effort. The salary range for this position is structured with this annual leave allocation incorporated into the compensation model.
 
The base annual compensation for this position is $115,000. Employees are also eligible for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus for time and attendance compliance. In addition, candidates are eligible for either a $2,000 sign-on bonus or up to $2,000 in relocation cost reimbursement.
 

Responsibilities Include:

Developing target packages and network analysis to identify targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non-lethal engagements. Researching and analyzing to exploit key data sources such as operational traffic and all source intelligence databases to support target strategy development and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle, F3EAD and other analytical methodologies to support the research, discovery, and analysis of key individuals and networks as well as an understanding of the targeting process, enterprise, and analytical tradecraft. Analytical products will provide decision makers the appropriate information for target prioritization to achieve their objectives for plans and operations.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (Some positions may require CI Poly.)
  • Conducts research within relevant databases, compiles and analyzes necessary data, and synthesizes information to provide an assessment within the scope of the assigned mission, within a government approved format.
  • Experience with research and intelligence analytic techniques, strong research and writing skills, and experience with basic computer applications, search engines, and data processing systems.
  • Experience with a variety of analytical tools and databases to include but not limited to BI2R/I2AR, Palantir, Query Tree, Chrome, Analyst Notebook, open source research, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, QLIX. Able to participate in analytical debate and be receptive to constructive criticism.
  • Able to brief mission and production related topics to internal and external government clients, military personnel, and contract audiences.
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 6 months (if supporting a line of effort that has deployment requirements).
  • Proliferates a detailed understanding of the tradecraft amongst mid and junior-level analysts and directly supports the professional development of all team members. 
  • The Senior/Expert Level analyst must be able to provide input into weekly, monthly, and quarterly contract deliverable requirements and serve as a functional, deputy, or team lead as necessary.

 

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Desired: Senior - Ten (10) years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 3 years. Bachelor's Degree in an area from a college or University accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. 

 

Onsite Position Requirements - This position requires regular onsite work at a government/customer facility. The employee must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to:
