Enterprise Information Architect
National Capital Region
Assertive Professionals is seeking an Enterprise Information Architect supporting our National Security customer in The National Capital Region.
This is a pipeline position.

This position provides 120 hours of paid leave annually, accrued throughout the year plus 11 federal holidays. Paid leave accruals vary by contract and are established based on customer requirements and the contractual level of effort. The salary range for this position is structured with this annual leave allocation incorporated into the compensation model.
The salary for this position is $220,000, based on the candidate meeting the position requirements. Employees are also eligible for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus for time and attendance compliance. In addition, candidates are eligible for either a $5,000 sign-on bonus or up to $5,000 in relocation cost reimbursement.
Position Summary:
The Enterprise Information Architect will lead activities related to IT process, knowledge, and data management. The ideal candidate will be a senior technology and business strategist with professional experience with IT process optimization, working with analysts and technical teams, collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders, and aligning data strategies with broader organizational goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing the overarching roadmap for how DIU creates, stores, uses, and secures its data across multiple Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools including but not limited to Google Workspace, Box Drive, ServiceNow, and Salesforce;
- Converting scattered data into structured, accessible, and actionable organizational knowledge
- Ensuring data quality tagging, authoritative data sources (ADS), and secure data pipelines
- Designing governance for internal wikis, documentation, and metadata repositories.
- Recommending rationalization of capabilities and integration of new tools and capabilities to maximize the ROI of DIU's data and knowledge assets.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 11+ years of technical project management experience
- Proficiency in database systems (Google Workspace, Box Drive, ServiceNow, and Salesforce), data warehousing, and business intelligence/dashboarding tools
- Exceptional communication
- Ability to translate highly technical concepts into non-technical, strategic business terms
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
