Category Manager – Corporate Services
Asset Living is looking for a tech-savvy Category Manager to lead procurement for our Corporate Services Categories. This role will manage sourcing and vendor relationships across categories including, but not limited to software, hardware, IT services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, HR Technology, Staffing Services, Consulting, Insurance Brokerage and Risk Management, Travel and Expense Management, Marketing and Event Management Services. The successful candidate will partner closely with leadership to support innovation, scalability, and cost optimization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for categories of responsibility.
- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and renewals with a focus on value and risk mitigation.
- Monitor technology trends and market dynamics to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure the alignment of business needs and compliance.
- Manage supplier performance, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and issue resolution.
- Support transformation initiatives and digital procurement efforts.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Services procurement or category management, preferably within the Property Management Industry.
- Deep understanding of IT sourcing, licensing models, and vendor ecosystems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with procurement platforms and contract lifecycle management tools.
