Trainer
In this strategic leadership role you will focus on providing comprehensive software support and training to end-users on the Yardi Voyager platform, specifically for the company's affordable housing portfolio (Tax Credit, HOME, HUD, RD, and Local Programs), conventional market-rate properties, and related third-party integrations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
End-user Software Support:
- Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous technical support to end-users, focusing on the Voyager, Entrata, and Realpage platforms.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to affordable compliance workflows.
- Implement software feature setup, adjustments, and functionality configuration.
- Coordinate the scheduling of end-users for training sessions.
- Effectively manage support requests within an automated ticketing system.
- Maintain a high level of communication, attention to detail, and a positive professional demeanor.
Training & Development:
- Conduct training for end-users on system policies and procedures, with an emphasis on Voyager Affordable compliance.
- Cultivate a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Serve as an effective leader in training settings, which includes leading trainees through course material, providing coaching, and evaluating trainee comprehension.
- Fulfill administrative duties related to training, such as entering credentials and tracking progress (e.g., follow-up quizzes, training credit) within the learning management system.
- Adapt training delivery across various environments, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT), recorded sessions, and training individuals or groups.
- Ensure all training curricula and materials align with current organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of new training classes and materials (videos, manuals, exercises, etc.), including all Voyager affordable training programs.
Software Project Management:
- Participate in testing new processes and implementing software updates.
- Support broader organizational projects and tasks as needed, including the implementation, review, and testing of new training features and modules.
- Assist with third-party integrations, covering testing, setup, and providing related training.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, a College Degree or equivalent practical experience in Affordable Housing.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in residential property management, with significant exposure to affordable housing compliance programs.
- Proven experience with affordable housing software systems.
- Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience as onsite management staff at an affordable property.
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager Software, Entrata, and RealPage.
**Travel up to approximately 10% may be required.

For individuals hired to work in a remote setting where pay transparency laws are in effect, Asset Living is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the state and includes the range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; etc. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would be near the top end of the compensation range, but that decision will be dependent on the facts associated with each specific individual’s relevant experience for the role. A reasonable estimate of the range is $55,000.00-$65,000.00.
