Onsite Project Manager
Project Manager will be responsible for oversight all facets of interior and exterior renovation activities for the assigned project. The Project Manager will report to the Senior Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous multi-family renovation supervision experience highly desirable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Understanding of the plans, specifications, and project scope
• Assist in subcontractor and vendor management and purchasing
• Understanding of construction schedule and communicating schedule needs to related entities
• Compile submittals for review
• Quality control for all facets of renovation project
• Daily jobsite supervision to monitor construction progress and conformance to contract documents
Education/Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Exposure with project plans and specifications
• Ability to coordinate and supervise group work effort
• Ability to use significant independent judgment
• Must be detailed, thorough, methodical and precise
• Manage time in order to meet deadlines for yourself as well as others working on the project
• Be flexible and resourceful in resolving issues that arise during construction
• Analyze proposals and coordinate with subs to ensure contract compliance and best fit
• Willing to be flexible with work hours to meet deadlines
• Willing to travel
• Time sensitivity of functions and time pressures require position to be flexible enough to work multiple tasks at one time
Physical Requirements
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
