Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with Architect skills to join our growing team and take ownership of our Salesforce platform. This role is essential for supporting our sales, customer success, and services teams while working closely with IT and other stakeholders to optimize our Salesforce instance. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining flows, custom applications, and automations, ensuring efficient and scalable processes. This role will also play a critical part in the Nue CPQ implementation and ongoing maintenance, as well as ensuring data integrity across our Salesforce ecosystem.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Salesforce Development & Architecture: Design and implement custom solutions using Apex and Visualforce to support business processes for sales, customer success, and services teams.
  • Flow & Automation Management: Lead the consolidation and streamlining of flows by object to optimize processes across the organization, ensuring efficient operations.
  • CPQ Implementation & Maintenance: Take over from external contractors and provide continued support for Nue CPQ. Maintain CPQ configurations, pricing rules, and product bundles to ensure seamless operations.
  • Salesforce Forecasting: Build and maintain Salesforce forecasting tools for accurate sales predictions and pipeline management, ensuring that revenue forecasting is effective and actionable.
  • System Integration & Optimization: Oversee integration with tools like our AW Platform, Zoominfo, Outreach, and 6Sense ensuring alignment with business needs and Salesforce as the central system of record.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide key insights into business performance, pipeline health, and team productivity.
  • Data Management: Implement data integrity, governance, and validation rules to ensure Salesforce data accuracy and cleanliness across teams.
  • Technical Training & Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of system architecture, custom development, and processes. Train internal stakeholders to ensure they are equipped to use Salesforce effectively.

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record of building and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with CPQ systems, specifically Nue CPQ, including configuration, management, and pricing structures.
  • Salesforce Forecasting Expertise: Ability to build accurate and scalable forecasting tools within Salesforce without relying on Tableau or Einstein Analytics.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.) and alignment of these systems with business processes.
  • Data Management & Governance: Strong understanding of data cleanliness, governance, and automation using validation rules and best practices in Salesforce.
  • Advanced Salesforce Reports and Dashboards: Expertise in building complex reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, tracking KPIs and business performance.
  • Experience managing flows and automation and consolidating and optimizing flows for scalable, efficient processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, and error handling mechanisms, ensuring code quality and system stability.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications are a plus, but strong hands-on experience is required.
  • Ability to Lead & Train: Experience training users and managing system adoption within the organization, with a proactive approach to driving system success.

We have a distributed team that works remotely across locations in the United States. We are open to candidates from most states but collaboration within core working hours is required.
