FP&A Manager

As an FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping AssetWatch’s financial strategy. Working closely with the Director of FP&A you will develop insights that drive strategic decisions, improve operations, and enhance financial performance. We are looking for a proactive, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to drive scalable growth.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with business leaders to provide actionable insights using financial and operational data.
- Assist in the development of advanced analytics, business intelligence tools, and automation to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through in-depth financial and operational analysis.
- Analyze P&L and balance sheet data to assess financial health and performance
- Partner with the Accounting team during the financial close process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track and report key SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, GRR/NRR) and financial KPIs.
- Extract, manipulate, validate and analyze sales and operational data from Salesforce and other systems.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to executives, managers, and department leaders.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects, delivering data-driven recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
- Collaborate with IT and Information Systems teams to enhance data management processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (MBA or master's degree is a plus).
- 3+ years experience in financial analysis, ideally in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
- Expertise in Salesforce and CRM systems, with the ability to extract, analyze, and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and SaaS metrics.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and actionable strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.

We have a distributed team that works remotely across locations in the United States. We are open to candidates from most states but collaboration within core working hours is required.
