Quality Assurance Engineer, Mobile

- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to ensure their functionality, reliability, and usability and interaction with the Web application.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the desired functionality of the applications.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues or improvements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Comfortable with Jira and Zephyr or other test case management, test execution, bug tracking tools.
- Perform manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Perform regression testing using manual and automated tools
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in testing mobile applications.
- Experience with Automation testing tools for Mobile - Ideally Flutter automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with SQL backend testing.
- Familiarity with Flutter for mobile application testing.
- Proficiency in utilizing Jira for issue tracking and project management.
- Experience with test case management tools, such as Zephyr.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing.
- Familiarity with mobile OS’s,
- Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Able to thrive on new challenges in a fast-paced agile environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Able to balance between the perfect solution and just getting it done
- Experience with BrowserStack
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
