Senior Manager, Post-Sales Revenue Operations

The opportunity
The Senior Manager, Post-Sales Revenue Operations leads the Revenue Operations function responsible for the systems, workflows, controls, and operational governance that support AssetWatch’s post-sale customer lifecycle from Implementation through renewals.
This role leads a defined portion of Revenue Operations with wide latitude over priorities for critical post-sale initiatives. It partners with leadership to shape the operating model, define scalable processes, improve handoffs, strengthen data integrity, and support growth across products, service models, and customer lifecycle motions.
The role supports multidisciplinary initiatives across Implementation, Support, Customer Success, Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, Salesforce Development, Deal Desk, Field Coordination, Field Technicians, Condition Monitoring Engineering, and Operations.
This position manages the Post-Sales Revenue Operations team and is accountable for team development, process governance, operational clarity, and measurable improvements across the post-sale customer lifecycle.
What you will own
Post Sales Revenue Operations Strategy
- Lead the strategy, design, and continuous improvement of post-sale operational workflows from Implementation through renewals.
- Partner with C4L and Revenue Operations leadership to define functional priorities, OKRs, operating principles, and long-term process direction for post-sale operations.
- Identify process debt, ownership gaps, data risks, manual work, and scalability constraints affecting post-sale execution.
- Translate business problems into process, reporting, automation, system, or ownership changes.
Post Sale Revenue Lifecycle Systems and Controls
- Manage and improve post-sales operational workflows, including Implementation, orders, subscriptions, renewals, upsells, Work Orders, service completion, billing readiness, and customer lifecycle changes.
- Define and maintain business requirements for Salesforce and related systems that support post-sale revenue operations, including workflow logic, field requirements, object relationships, automation dependencies, reporting needs, user experience, and process controls.
- Coordinate requirements and process improvements for Work Order and service workflows as a core component of the post-sale revenue lifecycle, ensuring service activity, completion status, and operational traceability support downstream billing, reporting, and revenue recognition needs.
- Establish controls that improve data integrity, handoff accuracy, workflow visibility, exception management, and downstream reliability.
- Lead business-side UAT and readiness validation, including test scenarios, edge cases, issue documentation, stakeholder alignment, launch readiness, and post-launch validation.
Automation Simplification and Operational Efficiency
- Identify repetitive, unclear, or high-friction processes that create avoidable effort across post-sale teams.
- Design automations, intake processes, routing logic, and workflow improvements that increase consistency and reduce manual intervention.
- Measure improvement through reduced manual effort, faster execution, fewer escalations, better data quality, and stronger operational visibility.
- Ensure automation and process changes remain practical, maintainable, and aligned with the Revenue Operations systems strategy.
Documentation Governance and Operational Enablement
- Own governance of post-sale operations documentation, ensuring key processes are accurate, current, accessible, and easy for teams to follow.
- Partner with the CS Enablement Manager on Customer Success enablement needs while retaining ownership of operational process accuracy and system documentation.
- Lead documentation audits, SOP verification, ownership cleanup, consolidation, archiving, and review-cycle discipline.
- Ensure process changes are supported by clear documentation, stakeholder communication, and adoption expectations.
Cross Functional Project Leadership
- Lead large-scale post-sale operations projects from discovery and scoping through delivery and post-launch validation.
- Manage priorities, dependencies, blockers, risks, and resource constraints across systems and process initiatives.
- Create project plans, Jira stories, process maps, stakeholder updates, and readiness criteria as needed.
- Escalate decision points and unresolved ownership gaps so leaders can make timely, informed decisions.
Team Leadership and Accountability
- Set goals for each direct report and connect individual work to Revenue Operations priorities, team OKRs, and company objectives.
- Hold the team accountable for quality, prioritization, process governance, operational readiness, and business outcomes.
- Build team capability in Salesforce workflows, UAT support, documentation governance, process cleanup, systems thinking, and cross-functional execution.
- Foster a team culture focused on practical problem-solving, accountability, continuous improvement, and trust across the broader organization.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Post-Sales Operations, Customer Success Operations, Business Operations, or a closely related function within SaaS or another subscription-based business.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and experience partnering with business systems or technology teams on process, data, and workflow improvements.
- Demonstrated experience translating business problems into requirements, process changes, reporting improvements, or automation opportunities across post-sale workflows.
- Experience leading business-side UAT, readiness validation, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch follow-through for system or process changes, plus experience managing or influencing an operations team.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with ambiguity, changing priorities, and distributed teams.
Preferred experience
- Experience scaling post-sale operations across multiple products, service models, or customer lifecycle motions, including documentation governance or process ownership.
- Experience with Work Orders, field or service operations, billing readiness, revenue recognition support, renewals, or customer lifecycle changes.
- Experience using automation, AI, or business intelligence tools to reduce manual work and improve decision-making.
The base salary range for this full-time position is posted below, plus equity and benefits. Variable pay, bonuses, and other cash compensation will be discussed throughout the interview process.
