And now, our Israel site in Haifa (Matam Area) is looking for talented students to join our engineering team!

 

Job Description

As a student engineer, you’ll support our design and validation teams by:

· Developing and improving scripts and tools that boost engineering productivity

· Learning our product development suites and writing new tests to expand validation coverage

· Supporting our SDK and collaborating with global teams

You will work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and guide you throughout your journey at Astera Labs Israel

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll gain real industry experience and contribute to meaningful projects, and not just side tasks.

Basic qualifications

· Open minded, proactive, and user focused mindset

· Strong coding skills and fast learning abilities

· Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment

· Availability to work at least two day 

per week during the semester (exam periods excluded)

· At least 3 semesters left until graduation

You should have completed core undergraduate courses such as:

· Data Structures

· Introduction to Computer Engineering

· Digital Systems / Computer Architecture

Required experience.

· Experience with Bash, Python, and C/C++

Bonus Points (Preferred Experience)

· C\C++ for embedded FW and device drivers

· Familiarity with Embedded communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART)

· Experience with debugging tools
