Role Overview
Astera Labs is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team for Summer 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on recruiting experience at one of the fastest-growing semiconductor companies powering the AI infrastructure revolution.
As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you'll work alongside our experienced recruiting team supporting full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. You'll gain exposure to the fast-paced world of talent acquisition in the tech industry, developing foundational skills in candidate coordination, resume evaluation, and recruiting operations. This role offers a unique window into how a hyper-growth company attracts and hires top talent to fuel its expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
- Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple hiring teams and time zones
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience
- Resume Screening & Sourcing Support
- Review incoming applications and identify qualified candidates based on role requirements
- Partner with recruiters to build candidate pipelines for priority roles
- Learn to evaluate technical and non-technical talent across various functions
- Recruiting Documentation
- Develop and refine recruiting templates, process documents, and training materials
- Maintain accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse)
- Support recruiting projects and initiatives that improve team efficiency and effectiveness
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the internship
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
- Interest in the technology or semiconductor industry
- Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starter attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
