About the role

Astera Labs is seeking a Sales Operation Analyst to help strengthen the systems, data, reporting, and processes that support our sales organization. In this role, you will work with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, improve operational workflows, maintain high-quality reporting, and help teams make informed decisions.

What you’ll do

Support the administration and continuous improvement of business systems used by Sales Operations.
Translate stakeholder needs into documented requirements, workflows, reports, dashboards, and process improvements.
Help create and maintain system objects, fields, workflows, reports, and related documentation.
Analyze Sales Operations processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
Support data analysis, reporting, and operational insights for the sales organization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation teams, and integration partners to ensure systems and processes align with operational requirements.
Facilitate communication across teams to drive necessary system changes, updates, and process adoption.
Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and rollout of reporting and workflow changes.
Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and operational initiatives.
Document decisions, processes, and solutions clearly so they can be maintained and scaled.

What you’ll bring

A bachelor’s or master’s degree completed recently, or expected by the start date, in business analytics, information systems, computer science, data science, business, or a related field.
Coursework, projects, internships, or other experience involving data analysis, business systems, reporting, process improvement, or requirements gathering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize complex information and identify practical solutions.
Comfort learning new enterprise applications, reporting tools, and business processes.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through when managing data, documentation, testing, and multiple priorities.
A collaborative, curious, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with a CRM, ERP, business intelligence, analytics, workflow, or reporting platform.
Familiarity with data modeling, dashboard development, system integrations, or process documentation.
Experience using spreadsheets or other tools to analyze data and communicate findings.
Exposure to software development or business-process life cycles, including requirements, testing, documentation, and change management.

Compensation

For NCG business-function roles with no previous experience, the available 2026 internal compensation framework lists a base salary of $100,000 for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and $110,000 for candidates with a master’s degree. Final compensation is determined as part of the offer process based on the applicable role framework, education, qualifications, and relevant experience.
