About the role

Astera Labs is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst Intern to support analysis and improvement of supply chain processes in a fast-moving semiconductor environment. You will work with cross-functional partners to turn supply chain data into clear insights, help investigate operational questions, and contribute to projects that improve visibility, planning, execution, and decision-making across the flow of materials and products.

This is an opportunity to own meaningful work with visible business impact while learning how supply chain teams connect procurement, planning, materials, manufacturing, packaging, and delivery.

What you’ll do

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses that help partners understand performance and make informed decisions.

• Support projects related to procurement, planning, inventory, materials, manufacturing, packaging, and delivery as business needs evolve.

• Gather requirements, document findings, and communicate recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Validate data, investigate discrepancies, and ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and usable.

• Take ownership of defined workstreams, manage milestones, and follow through from planning through delivery.

• Navigate ambiguity by asking thoughtful questions, seeking support when needed, and proactively closing loops.

• Share project outcomes and learnings with the team and the broader Early Career community.

What you’ll bring

• Current enrollment in a college or graduate program in a field relevant to supply chain, operations, analytics, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

• Interest in supply chain operations, data analysis, process improvement, and the semiconductor industry.

• Ability to organize information, work carefully with data, and learn new tools and processes quickly.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly to different audiences.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing complete, reliable, and usable results.

• A collaborative, curious, and proactive approach to solving problems.

Internship experience and compensation

This is a paid, hourly U.S. internship. The applicable hourly rate is determined as part of the offer process and specified in the offer letter, depending on education level ranges form $35/hour to $55/hour. U.S. interns currently receive a $500-per-week housing/relocation stipend for the duration of the internship. Interns participate in Early Career programming, including technical and professional-development sessions, community events, and an end-of-program project presentation.
