As an Account Manager at Astera Labs, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities within our target market. You will leverage your strong communication skills, technical acumen, and understanding of the technology landscape to build lasting relationships with customers and exceed sales quotas.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify and generate new opportunities through various channels, including, f2f meetings, email outreach, social selling, and networking.
- Qualification: Assess potential customers' needs and determine their fit with our products or services.
- Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the value proposition of our offerings.
- Negotiation: Effectively negotiate contracts and pricing terms to maximize revenue.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales activities and pipeline development.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience within the tech industry with preferred semi-conductor knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts.
- A passion for technology and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling [specific products or services, e.g., SaaS, hardware, software].
- Knowledge of the Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and key players.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
