Astera Labs is seeking a Senior Corporate FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in San Jose, California. This role is critical to driving financial strategy and operational excellence as we scale our AI infrastructure connectivity business. As a key member of the FP&A team, you'll own the full financial planning cycle—from budgeting and forecasting to variance analysis and strategic scenario planning. 

This is a highly visible position where your work directly informs executive decision-making and board-level discussions. You'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our core financial models and processes while supporting the leadership team with actionable insights that drive business performance. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and can translate complex financial data into clear, strategic recommendations. 

Key Responsibilities 

     1. Financial Planning & Analysis 

  • Own and direct the end-to-end corporate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models that support strategic decision-making
  • Support long-range financial planning through scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling 

     2. Executive Reporting & Strategic Support 

  • Prepare high-impact financial presentations and analyses for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather insights and align on financial objectives
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations 

     3. Financial Operations & Process Excellence 

  • Serve as primary owner of key financial models and processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and scalability
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, collaborating with Accounting and FP&A teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes and systems
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all financial reporting and analysis 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related analytical roles
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using Excel and Microsoft tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in high-growth technology companies or semiconductor industry 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS or hardware business models and metrics 
  • Proven track record of building scalable financial processes and models 

Salary range is $120,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, level, and business need. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonusincentives and benefits.
