Role Overview 

Astera Labs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing People team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this pivotal role, you'll be the backbone of our recruiting operations, ensuring seamless candidate experiences while supporting our mission to build world-class teams across engineering, sales, and G&A functions. As we scale rapidly to meet the demands of the AI infrastructure connectivity market, you'll play a critical role in coordinating up to 30 active requisitions, managing complex interview schedules, and maintaining the operational excellence that enables our recruiters to focus on finding top talent.

You'll work cross-functionally with hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to deliver exceptional experiences while driving process improvements and maintaining data integrity in our ATS. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to attract and hire the talent needed to power next-generation data centers and unlock the full potential of cloud and AI workloads. 

Key Responsibilities 

Interview Coordination & Scheduling 

  • Manage end-to-end interview scheduling for up to 30 active requisitions across multiple departments and time zones 
  • Coordinate complex panel interviews and multi-day onsite visits with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proactively troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and provide creative solutions to ensure seamless candidate experiences 
  • Prepare and send interview confirmations, agendas, and logistics information to candidates and interviewers 

Candidate Experience & Communication 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process 
  • Deliver timely, professional, and personalized communication that reflects Astera Labs' values and culture 
  • Gather and relay candidate feedback to recruiters and hiring managers 
  • Ensure candidates have a positive, white-glove experience from initial contact through offer stage 

Recruiting Operations & ATS Management 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse ATS 
  • Conduct regular data clean-up and audits to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy 
  • Generate recruiting metrics and reports to support team analytics and decision-making 
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives to enhance recruiting efficiency 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition operations, or HR support roles 
  • Demonstrated experience using Greenhouse ATS or similar applicant tracking systems 
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset 
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting high-volume technical recruiting or fast-paced startup environments 
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices, compliance requirements, and candidate experience strategies 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong collaboration with team members 
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic, rapidly changing environments 

Compensation 

Hourly pay range is $30 to $40 depending on experience and qualifications. This is a contract-to-hire position with potential for conversion to full-time employment.
