Career Scam Disclaimer

Impersonators have created emails, instant messages, text messages, and presence on social media, falsely claiming to be from personnel at atai Life Sciences. These emails and messages are employment scams or phishing scams and have taken several forms, including:

•    Details about work-from-home and other employment opportunities, including a request to interview using online chat or text messaging
•    Links to fake webpages, designed to steal usernames and passwords

atai Life Sciences and our affiliates have no involvement in these or any other scams. Names of our personnel are being used without our authorization.

Please be aware that:
•    atai does not use Signal, Wire, Google Hangouts, Telegram App, WhatsApp, or any other platform to conduct interviews as part of our recruiting process or for any recruitment-related activities.
•    Disregard any solicitation or request for information related to job applications with atai via any other means and/or using email addresses with any domain other than “@atai.life”
•    atai will never require you to provide personal information, such as your driver’s license, passport or Social Security Number (SSN) during an interview (this is not needed until later during the background check process if applicable).
•    atai will never ask candidates to provide credit card or bank account information or otherwise transfer money or make any type of personal financial investment related to gaining employment with the company.

If you are the recipient of communication purporting to be from atai personnel that comes from any email domain other than @atai.life, contains unusual content, or was delivered via social media or an online messaging service, please check the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting us directly at SecurityMatters@atai.life.
