Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Executive Assistant to support Atari’s CTO in managing a dynamic portfolio spanning game development, infrastructure, international teams, and strategic initiatives. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of gaming, technology, and business operations while leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to maximize efficiency. You’ll work directly with Andreas Deptolla, CTO of Atari, with daily in-person collaboration at our Münster office and flexibility to complete remaining hours remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar & Meeting Management
- Orchestrate complex scheduling across US, European, and Indian time zones
- Prepare meeting agendas, gather materials, and distribute action items
- Block and protect time for deep work and strategic thinking
Recruitment & Team Growth Coordination
- Coordinate with HR on hiring processes for Germany-based technical roles
- Track hiring pipeline and remind stakeholders of pending decisions
Email & Communication Management
- Triage and prioritize incoming communications across multiple channels
- Draft responses to routine inquiries and vendor communications
- Manage follow-ups on pending items and action items from meetings
- Maintain organized email systems and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Administrative Support
- Prepare, convert, and submit documentation in required formats
- Work with our legal partners to execute on agreements
- Support in the various board activities and required documentation
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Native or near-native English fluency (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Available in Münster office daily for 2-3 hours of in-person collaboration
- Passionate about technology and comfortable with technical concepts and terminology
- AI-powered productivity: Excited to learn and work with modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation tools) to maximize efficiency
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Self-starter mentality: You see what needs to be done and do it without being asked
- Discretion and confidentiality: You'll handle sensitive information about M&A, contracts, and personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting C-level executives in tech or startup environments
- Familiarity with the gaming industry or general tech enthusiasm
- German language skills
- Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, project management tools
Technical Tools You'll Master
- Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT) for drafting, research, and automation
- Communication platforms (Slack, Google Meet, Zoom)
- Calendar optimization and time-blocking strategies
- Document management and knowledge organization systems
