  • Manage database access, account unlocks, password resets, and service account password changes for credentials older than 365 days.
  • Document procedures for resetting expired accounts and resolving SQL Developer password reset issues involving Connect Identifier and Network Alias selections.
  • Identify users with direct database connections and assist with their transition to TNS connections.
  • Maintain accurate schema and environment mappings in the Appschema spreadsheet and current user and schema manager contacts in the database contact table.
  • Coordinate database changes, issues, risks, and progress with the federal lead and supporting teams.
  • Support database migration and upgrade planning, testing, and execution.
  • Provide database support for Oracle APEX applications, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-level professional experience administering Oracle databases in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Oracle database DISA STIG compliance.
  • Working knowledge of database security, user privileges, auditing, configuration management, and remediation documentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting database issues and performing routine maintenance, backup, and recovery activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a federal technical lead and follow government priorities and direction.
  • Clear communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Oracle database migration or upgrade experience.
  • Experience supporting federal government database environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Application Express (APEX) experience.
  • Hands on experience with or at least general knowledge of Oracle 26ai.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Database.
  • Relevant Oracle database administration certifications.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $135,000 – $145,000 annually (commensurate with experience, certifications, and location)
  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer match; paid time off; professional development opportunities.
