Description:
The Box Office Seller is responsible for selling tickets to the general public for Oakland Athletics Home Spring Training games at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, AZ.
Responsibilities:
- Sell admission tickets to spring training games to the general public.
- Assist guests at the box office window for all ticketing inquiries.
- Answer questions regarding tickets and game schedules.
- Provide high quality customer service to fans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma, or GED equivalent.
- Willing and able to work non-traditional hours
- Willing and able to work all Spring Training home games in addition to some pre-season preparation and post-season wrap-up days.
- A service mindset with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to take the initiative to provide solutions.
- Strong attention to detail in a fast paced work environment.
- Team oriented attitude with a “can do” service focus.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maturity when responding to staff and fans.
- Previous experience working in events and in a customer relations role will be a plus.
