Description:
The Athletics are currently seeking a Seasonal Clubhouse Manager for the Minor League Affiliate team in Lansing, MI. This position will report to the Assistant Director, Minor League Operations, Equipment, and Clubhouse Operations and will manage clubhouse and equipment related matters at the full-season affiliate team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clubhouse operations while maintaining a clean and organized clubhouse.
- Provide player and staff laundry on a daily basis.
- Oversee daily locker room set-up and breakdown.
- Provide a variety of meal and snacks options for players and staff.
- Communicate with the Assistant Director on equipment distribution, needs, and repairs throughout the season.
- Assist with player transportation to hotel, airport, road games, doctor visits, and other locations as needed.
- Provide and maintain accurate inventory of equipment and ongoing reporting of inventory to applicable personnel.
- Support a variety of special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Prior experience in a clubhouse or equipment manager role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Availability to work Spring Training in Mesa, AZ in February & March.
- Flexibility to work extensive hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the minor league baseball season.
