ATI is at an exciting juncture in our growth, and we’re seeking a Managing Director to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong managed care expert, eager to deliver meaningful solutions to private and public sector clients; participate in the build of our portfolio of work focused on Medicare Advantage, Special Needs Plans, and Medicaid managed care; has policy expertise across Medicare and Medicaid; has working experience within a managed care organization including working for or supporting functional areas such as health plan operations, clinical models, provider networks, or business development, plan solutioning; and has interest in growing with our company.
Responsibilities:
The Managed Care Managing Director will lead executive engagement for all advisory services in their portfolio and spearhead efforts to continuously strengthen and grow the broader Managed Care Strategy and Operations practice body of work spanning Medicare Advantage, Special Needs Plans, and Medicaid managed care.. This includes:
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of service delivery that includes key business area components such as subject matter expertise, client relationships, and team management.
- Leading teams of experts and analysts in delivering guidance, research, and consulting to clients in a way that promotes positive team culture and superior client services.
- Leading business development efforts, including identifying new customers, developing and growing relationships, translating customer issues to solutions ATI offers, deal shaping, developing and delegating project scope proposals, and negotiating new business.
- Managing and supporting brand development efforts, including producing thought leadership and content, representing ATI externally at conferences (e.g., panels, presentations, speeches), participating in expert workgroups or convenings, and through media interviews.
- Serving as an expert advisor on portfolio projects and as appropriate, collaborating with other Practice areas at ATI, including ideation and setting a clear, strong vision for project execution and delivery.
- Managing and serving as trusted, go-to resource for managed care and vendor solution clients, including building and strengthening our relationships with clients and the value and insights we deliver to them, and thinking holistically across a client’s portfolio to deliver client excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with strong preference for experience working in a managed care organization in a leadership role.
- Deep subject matter expertise in managed care, including experience with and an appreciation for the role of federal, state, and local policy, as well as an understanding of how policy interacts with product strategies and managed care functional areas.
- Strong consulting aptitude, including the ability to lead a dynamic portfolio of projects and clients, apply critical, strategic thinking and knowledge across broad range of Medicare and Medicaid topics, and ensure client services excellence.
- Business development acumen, with the ability to retain existing portfolio clients and establish new clients and workstreams.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) appropriate to different audiences and stakeholders, including strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive level clients.
