How You Will Make an Impact
The HR Manager is a strategic and hands-on partner supporting Atlas Energy Solutions’ Power and Corporate Functions. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in employee relations, compliance, and multi-state employment law. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive business outcomes while managing complex employee matters and mitigating organizational risk.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing coaching and guidance on organizational effectiveness, performance management, and workforce strategy
- Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, with a strong focus on risk mitigation
- Own and administer FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and disability case management, ensuring compliance and consistency across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and drive consistent application of HR policies and practices
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and change management initiatives
- Oversee and execute core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and programs to support business objectives
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including personnel files, I-9s, and HR data
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and compliance
- Proven expertise in FMLA, workers’ compensation, and multi-state employment law
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Experience handling sensitive and complex employee situations with sound judgment and discretion
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Strong business partnership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
