Position Overview

ATLAS SP Legal provides legal counsel to ATLAS SP. This role is for a Vice President-level position to support Front Office structured finance transactions.

Primary Responsibilities

•    Provide advice to deal teams and oversight with respect to all ATLAS SP warehouse lending and securitization transactions in the U.S and overseas, across asset classes.
•    Stay current on the global regulatory landscape affecting the securitization market across the various underlying asset classes underlying ATLAS SP transactions and across jurisdictions.
•    Provide advice and oversight with respect to reputational, regulatory and other risks that may impact ATLAS SP structured finance transactions.
•    As needed, support or lead development and execution of other Legal Department projects and initiatives in coordination with internal business teams and control functions.

Qualification and Experience

•    At least 5 years of progressive experience in structured finance and/or securitization transactions.
•    Hold a J.D. from accredited law school and licensed or qualified to practice law in the United States.
•    Ability to manage and execute transactions with minimal oversight.

 

Base Salary Range

$150,000-$250,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
