Position Overview
ATLAS SP is seeking self-motivated individuals to join its Business Services team providing core day to day support of the Residential and Commercial Real Estate financing and securitization businesses. This role will engage in the lifecycle management of whole loan financing facilities, including booking , funding coordination, covenant monitoring and asset management functions. You will collaborate across the Originations, Risk, Treasury and Operations teams to manage delivery and efficient execution of financing and securitization activities.
Responsibilities
- This role is heavily integrated within the financing and securitization teams coordinating the implementation and booking of new financing facilities, performing ongoing asset management activities, and interfacing with clients on data, documentation and reporting
- Work alongside the Banking team for onboarding and servicing of new and existing transactions, including analysis of asset data provided by clients and servicers, coordinating with IT and Operations to ensure proper implementation of facility terms and features, providing oversight of funding and trade settlement activities, monitoring covenant compliance, etc.
- Create and maintain analytical reports for key stakeholders across the business
- Lead various initiatives, process improvements and technology enhancements to streamline operational capabilities and create efficiency and scalability
- Operate cross-functionally to ensure all downstream processing stakeholders and beyond receive timely and accurate transaction information
- Provide internal and external clients premier support services
- Participate in new business strategies with regards to pre and post trade execution, accurate front to back flow, risk reporting, remittance coordination and data reconciliations
Qualification and Experience
- Seeking a detail oriented, organized candidate with 3-5 years’ experience. Specific background in Residential or Commercial whole loans, RMBS/CMBS, or other asset-backed loans/securities preferred but not required.
- Strong in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity/experience with data analytics, coding languages (SQL, R, Python) and AI tools is strongly preferred. The role requires ability to manipulate large datasets, develop (in conjunction with data scientists and developers) reporting and analytics from these datasets, and understand generally how data flows and is used throughout large and complex models and systems
- Experience with negotiation or interpretation of credit agreements, repurchase agreements securities offering documents (especially RMBS, CMBS, or ABS), or other commercial lending agreements
- Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in financial services
- Possess strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working
- Demonstrated confidence, maturity, and proactive nature
- Eagerness to learn and take on responsibility
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree required
Base Salary Range
$110,000 - $150,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
