Position Overview
ATLAS SP is seeking an Associate, Finance Technology to join the Data & Enterprise Services team. This is a hands-on technology role focused on building and supporting solutions for fund accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
The individual will work closely with senior engineers, Finance, and Operations teams to help automate accounting workflows, improve data quality, and support the reliability and control of finance systems and reporting.
The role is well suited for a developer with strong technical fundamentals and growing business analysis skills, supporting finance platforms and data pipelines
This is an individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on development, delivery, and learning within a complex finance technology environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build, enhance, and support technology solutions for fund accounting, expense allocation, P&L reporting, fee calculation, and financial risk reporting.
• Develop and maintain data integrations, pipelines, and reconciliations across finance, operations, and external systems.
• Provide production support for finance technology applications, including issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Assist with system integrations involving third-party applications and vendor platforms.
• Work with Finance and Operations stakeholders to understand accounting processes and data requirements.
• Implement changes and enhancements based on requirements and designs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to documentation and release processes.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualification and Experience
• 2+ years of experience in Finance Technology, software engineering, data engineering, or related roles, preferably within financial services or asset management.
• Basic to working knowledge of fund accounting or financial reporting concepts
• Working knowledge of FIS Investran or similar loan servicing and accounting platforms is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent) for data querying and transformations.
• Experience with one or more programming languages, preferably .NET (C#) and/or Python.
• Exposure to system integrations, data feeds, or ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug data and application issues.
• Willingness to learn finance concepts and work closely with Accounting and Operations teams.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
