Senior Strategic Finance Associate - Sao Paulo, BRA

Sao Paulo, BRA

Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What you’ll do

As a key member of our Strategic Finance team, you will bridge the gap between complex data and executive decision-making. You won’t just report the numbers; you’ll build the models and provide the insights that drive our growth and operational excellence.

  • Drive Strategic Financial Analysis: Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate new investments, growth initiatives, and unit economics. You’ll partner with leadership to optimize pricing, cost structures, and overall profitability.
  • Fuel Value Creation: Support Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) and cost-discipline initiatives. You’ll be the go-to person for identifying margin improvements and enterprise-wide productivity gains.
  • Be a Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a financial advisor to cross-functional leaders, translating raw data into "financial storytelling" and actionable recommendations that shape the future of the business.
  • Modernize Our Analytics: Design and scale automated reporting frameworks. You’ll leverage SQL, BI platforms, and AI-enabled tools to integrate data across ERP systems, creating a "single source of truth" and reducing manual reporting effort.
  • Guide Investment Decisions: Evaluate capital allocation and expansion opportunities through rigorous scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis, ensuring our performance aligns with long-term strategic targets.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a high-caliber analyst who is as comfortable writing SQL queries as they are presenting to an executive board. You are a problem-solver with a knack for automation and a deep curiosity about business drivers.

  • Proven Track Record: 4–7 years of experience in strategic finance, investment analysis, consulting, or corporate FP&A. Experience in high-growth tech, fintech, or multinational environments is a major plus.
  • Technical Powerhouse: You possess advanced financial modeling skills and are highly proficient in SQL. You have a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and build impactful BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Automation Mindset: You don't like doing the same thing twice. You have experience automating data pipelines, integrating multiple ERP systems, and leveraging AI tools to improve forecasting and anomaly detection.
  • Executive Presence: You can distill complex analytical insights into clear, persuasive recommendations for leadership. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional settings.
  • Educational Foundation: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. An MBA or a background in advanced analytics is considered a strong advantage.

Why join us

At Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time—bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. We exist to uncover valuable unknown truths and turn them into progress, which means constantly pushing beyond what’s known and building what doesn’t yet exist. The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Sao Paulo office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
