Global Mobility Associate - Bogotá, COL

Bogotá, COL

Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What you'll do

As our Global Mobility Associate, you will be the engine behind our immigration and relocation programs. You will bridge the gap between legal counsel, internal stakeholders, and our employees, ensuring a "white-glove" experience during complex transitions.

  • Own the Case Lifecycle: Manage high-volume US (80%) and International (20%) immigration cases, including sponsorship, visa renewals, and Green Card processes.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and HRBPs, translating complex legal requirements into clear, actionable advice.
  • Optimize Operations: Build, audit, and maintain tracking systems to ensure 100% data hygiene and compliance (I-9s, work authorizations, and visa expiration timelines).
  • Manage External Partners: Partner with outside counsel and oversee various global vendors, ensuring they meet our high standards for speed and accuracy.
  • Drive Policy & Intake: Manage internal mobility policies and intake processes, evaluating exceptions and navigating priorities with autonomy.
  • Collaborate on People Ops: Partner with the broader People team (Audit & Governance) to frame process improvements that scale with our recruiting growth.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a "savvy" operator—someone who isn't just a paper-pusher, but a high-IQ communicator who can manage sensitive information with polish and precision.

  • Relevant Experience: Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience in Global Mobility or US Immigration. However, if you are an operational powerhouse with a background in high-volume case management (e.g., legal or HR ops) and a hunger to master mobility, we want to talk to you.
  • The "Tech" Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments where speed and accuracy are non-negotiable. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot quickly as hiring needs evolve.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You are a "polished" communicator. You can handle sensitive conversations with stakeholders and represent the company professionally to external partners.
  • Highly Organized & Data-Driven: You have a proven track record of building tracker systems and managing high-volume workflows without letting details slip through the cracks.
  • Prioritization Pro: You can independently evaluate urgency, distinguishing between critical "must-act" cases and standard operational tasks.
  • Continuous Learner: You love to deep-dive into new processes and are excited to take full ownership of the Global Mobility function from day one.

Why join us

At Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time—bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. We exist to uncover valuable unknown truths and turn them into progress, which means constantly pushing beyond what’s known and building what doesn’t yet exist. The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Bogotá office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
