Employee Relations Associate - Bogotá, COL

Bogotá, COL

Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you will be the neutral arbiter of truth for our global team. You will handle complex investigations from start to finish, ensuring that every voice is heard and every fact is documented with precision.

  • Lead Global Investigations: Own the end-to-end investigation process for potential policy violations, primarily supporting our US and Canada markets (including our US-based kitchen operations).
  • Conduct Fact-Finding: Serve as a neutral investigator to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and analyze data to determine whether policy violations have occurred.
  • Issue Spotting & Analysis: Review complaints and management escalations to identify core issues, distinguishing between behavioral misconduct and general HR grievances.
  • Expert Report Writing: Document every step of the investigation with high attention to detail, producing comprehensive reports that withstand legal and HR scrutiny.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with Legal, HR Business Partners, and Business Leaders to deliver factual findings and provide recommendations for disciplinary actions.
  • Global Compliance: Navigate the logistical nuances of different time zones and local policies while maintaining a consistent, fair standard across the organization.

What we’re looking for

We need an investigator who is "customer-obsessed"—meaning you care deeply about how the investigation process impacts our people and the business, while remaining fiercely impartial.

  • Experience: 1–2 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in internal investigations. You must be able to hit the ground running; we are looking for someone who can "spot the issues" from day one.
  • Language Skills: English C1
  • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to make difficult credibility determinations and remain neutral under pressure.
  • The "Legal Lens": A background in a law firm or in-house legal department is a major plus. Experience with Labor Law or Employment Law is highly transferable and preferred.
  • Writing Excellence: You should actually enjoy (or at least be highly proficient at) writing. The ability to translate complex interviews into clear, concise, and factual documentation is the backbone of this role.
  • Approachability: You are a natural at stakeholder management. You can walk the line between being a rigorous investigator and an approachable partner to the business.

Why join us

At Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time—bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. We exist to uncover valuable unknown truths and turn them into progress, which means constantly pushing beyond what’s known and building what doesn’t yet exist. The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Bogotá office. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
