People Operations Associate - Bogotá, COL
Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you’ll do
As our People Operations Associate, you won't just be following a checklist—you will be the "Project Manager of the People Team." You will bridge the gap between HR strategy and operational execution, building the engine that powers our employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
Your day-to-day will focus on three core pillars: Process Engineering, Quality & Compliance, and Program Management.
- Own & Optimize Processes: Identify inefficiencies and systemic bottlenecks in our internal workflows. Use Root Cause Analysis to design, map, and document repeatable, high-quality processes that scale.
- Drive Change Management: Execute process improvements and act as a change agent, ensuring smooth adoption of new workflows across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Audit & Compliance Oversight: Monitor compliance, conduct regular data validation, and maintain a clear tracker of internal audits to ensure absolute operational accuracy and data integrity.
- Support Business-as-Usual (BAU) Cycles: Provide program management support for recurring people cycles, ensuring they run on time, accurately, and with continuous improvements baked in.
- Tech & Tool Management: Act as the go-to person for troubleshooting and managing internal People tools (e.g., FirstAdvantage, Sana, HRIS platforms) and effectively coordinate with external vendors.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an analytical, process-driven, and tech-savvy who thrives on complexity and loves turning fragmented workflows into well-oiled machines. You should bring 2 to 5 years of experience in operational, analytical, or program management roles.
Must-Haves:
- The Right Experience: 2–5 years in People Ops, HR Project Management, Business Operations, Quality Assurance (QA), Compliance, or a similar data-driven/analytical operational role.
- Large-Scale Tech Familiarity: Experience navigating complex, high-volume problems within a fast-paced technology or shared services environment.
- Analytical & Root Cause Thinking: A proven ability to look at a failed process, identify the "why" behind the "what," and fix the root systemic cause rather than just treating the symptom.
- Strong Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of planning, tracking, and coordinating multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- A Proactive Mindset: You are resourceful, highly autonomous, and agile enough to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic setting. You don't wait for instructions; you create solutions.
- Systems Comfort: Highly tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to, evaluate, and troubleshoot internal tools and platforms
Why join us
At Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time—bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
