Head of Marketing

Dallas, TX

Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

About the role

Atoms is seeking a Director of Brand to lead the teams and strategies responsible for managing the Atoms brand and leading communications strategies. This is a high-impact leadership role that reports to the Chief Experience Officer and sits at the intersection of marketing, creative production, operations, and strategy. This role owns lifecycle and communication strategies across the business and oversees the brand team managing partnerships, events, social media, and design.

The ideal candidate is a strong strategist and natural collaborator with a strong track record of building brand campaigns internally and externally. This person brings sharp analytical instincts and a bias for action: someone who can design systems at scale, own a budget, test and iterate quickly, and still roll up their sleeves when progress is on the line. We're looking for someone who thinks end-to-end about the Atoms journey and is obsessed with making every experience exceptional—from our drivers to our customers. If you've led a communications strategy, managed brand campaigns, and love solving complex problems, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end management of the Atoms brand across employer branding initiatives and customer facing channels
  • Build and execute internal driver campaigns and 360 communication plans in collaboration with operations and the brand team
  • Serve as the connection between operations, recruiting, tech, and marketing
  • Use data to drive decision-making to solve operational problems across the business through brand and communications
  • Analyze and continuously improve Atoms's end-to-end lifecycle communication strategy to drive engagement with drivers and customers
  • Manage and continuously improve Atoms’s loyalty strategy including the Driver Milestone Program and customer loyalty program
  • Lead Atoms’s external brand campaign strategy to support customer acquisition and engagement
  • Translate marketing metrics, market research, and cultural trends into actionable brand strategies
  • Lead and develop the brand team managing rider acquisition strategies across partnerships, events, social media, and influencer relationships
  • Champion the Atoms brand across everything we do to maintain consistency of the Atoms voice and identity

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in marketing or brand management. Startup experience is a plus!
  • Proven experience managing 360 campaigns
  • Experience owning and managing a CRM platform—bonus points if you have experience with Braze
  • Experience working with data to build lifecycle automations and segmentation strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of creatives
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills: comfortable owning a budget, interpreting data, and building scalable systems
  • A bias for action and a track record of testing, iterating, and improving processes quickly
  • Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator who can build alignment across markets and functions
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple markets and teams

The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it’s grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together. Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
