POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for leading and managing a world-class medical device sales organization. Other responsibilities include developing the company’s sales objectives and implementing strategies and tactics to achieve established objectives through effective recruiting, training, and motivation of sales team, implementing systems, structures, and processes that increase efficiencies and accelerate cycles, as well as initiating and developing key customer relationships. The RVP Sales, Cryo Nerve Block will work closely with the VP, Cryo Nerve Block Area Directors, Cardiac and Hybrid Therapies Area Directors, Marketing, and Professional Education in order to maintain alignment and prioritize organizational initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
• Serves as sales leader and provides support and direction to the Cryo Nerve Block sales organization of designated area and creates a dynamic sales organization with a learning and developmental culture
• Effectively communicates sales strategies, applies knowledge of resources available to maximize the sales organization potential
• Prepares annual sales budget and sales forecast, effectively communicates budgets and forecasts to assigned sales organization and helps provide strategies to meet the objectives
• Leads the development of strategic business planning activities to help meet and achieve annual operating plan
• Develops and maintains strong collaborative customer relationships
• Provides leadership to remove obstacles when necessary to help sales organization achieve sales goals
• Collaborate with other US and OUS executive sales leadership across all franchises, Marketing, and Professional Education
• Uses strategic abilities to grow business and helps design strategies to achieve growth
• Develops effective and innovative strategic strategies that help drive change to successful results
• Identifies key high potential personnel, works to help develop strengths for growth and future advancement
• Fosters an environment which supports open communication and exchange of creative ideas

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Typically, eight plus years of progressively more responsible work experience in medical device surgical areas or a related discipline, including direct experience in surgical product sales
• Requires highly developed leadership skills/experience sufficient to assume the responsibilities of this management position
• Must be skilled at delegation, follow-up, and team building
• Has direct knowledge about physicians in the Thoracic and/or Vascular markets
• Seasoned judgment acquired through organizational experience and achievements applying state-of-the-art sales principles
• Documented record of delivering sales information which adds value to management's decision-making process. Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Must have a comprehensive working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, e-mail, Microsoft Office, graphics software, etc.
• Ability to travel 50%
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to regularly walk, sit, stand, bend, push, pull as required
• Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing
