Position: Senior QA Automation & AI Testing Engineer (India Remote)

Overview

As a Senior QA Automation & AI Testing Engineer, you will own Atrium’s QA automation strategy and execution. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will design and implement robust testing frameworks, introduce AI-driven testing practices, and drive the transition from manual QA to a highly automated, intelligent testing ecosystem.

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Leadership to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Architect and implement end-to-end automation frameworks (UI, API, integration).
• Drive adoption of automation-first and shift-left testing practices.
• Lead the introduction of AI-driven testing capabilities, including:
• Intelligent test generation
• Self-healing automation
• Risk-based and predictive test coverage
• Evaluate, select, and standardize on modern QA tools and frameworks.
• Build and integrate continuous testing pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
• Establish quality metrics, reporting, and release readiness standards.
• Collaborate closely with QA and engineering teams to improve testability, observability, and code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of QA experience, with deep expertise in automation.
• Proven track record of building and scaling QA automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills (JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong experience with API testing and automation.
• Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Solid understanding of databases and data validation (MySQL, Snowflake is a plus).
• Strong system thinking and ability to design scalable testing architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML-based testing tools or frameworks.
• Exposure to self-healing automation platforms.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
