Senior Industrial Engineer

Arlington, VA, Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA

About Us

We’re a combat-tested group of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs who believe America’s edge depends on autonomous airpower that’s trusted and deployable today not in 2040. Backed by tier-one investors, we’ve secured the runway - financial, regulatory, and literal - to move at startup speed while tackling a national-security mission that matters. We’ve structured the company for radical ownership: no silos, no “systems integrator” overhead, just tightly knit mission-focused IPTs that live and breathe the hardware and code they ship.

If you thrive where hard-tech ambition meets national-security urgency, you’ll build faster here than anywhere else. Let’s get after it.

Culture That Ships

  • Strong Core Values, Startup Execution. Integrity, Service Before Self, Excellence, Honor, Courage, Commitment—powered by a bias for action and a “figure it out” mindset.
  • Self-Starters Only. You’ll have clear objectives, a blank sheet of paper, and the trust (plus capital) to move fast. Bureaucracy stays out of your way.
  • One Team, No Tourists. Whether you’re tuning a control law at 2 a.m. or heat-treating a Ti-6Al-4V spar, everyone sweats the details. We celebrate wins together and own failures together.

What’s In It for You

  • Mission With a Pulse. Every line of code, bracket, or test you deliver expands the toolbox of the warfighter on Day 1 of a conflict.
  • Resources Without Red Tape. VC speed + DoD customer pull: access to test ranges, flight hours, and operator feedback while retaining startup agility.
  • Career-Defining Upside. Significant equity, best-in-class benefits, and the chance to see your product deliver in months, not decades.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of our digital production system a clean sheet uncrewed aerial system. This role will be embedded with our core product design team to drive early integration between design engineering and manufacturing, ultimately ensuring that our aircraft is designed for scalable, efficient, and cost-effective production from the prototype through low-rate initial production and onto full-rate production.

You will own the development and maintenance of the production system configuration and leverage simulation tools to validate and iterate factory configurations. You will push the limits of the production system in the digital environment to gain a better understanding of risk.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the development and maintenance of production system configuration, leverage simulation tools to optimize factory layout, flow, and capacity
  • Develop factory design plans including line layout, building requirements, facility resources, and material flow to meet production rate
  • Serve as subject matter expert for production system modeling, capacity planning, and throughput analysis
  • Define business processes for high volume manufacturing including manufacturing execution, inventory management, non-conformance resolution, material traceability, process control, and maintenance
  • Work with our engineering team to develop and manage production strategies that identify and mitigate risk
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, process efficiency, and cost
  • Inform supply chain management as well as early CAPEX expenditures through detailed system analysis
  • Develop key production performance indicators and implement data acquisition/tracking for production and quality control metrics

What You Bring

  • B.S./M.S. in Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar engineering discipline; >5 yrs setting up and operating aerospace production lines
  • Experience with discrete event simulation tools such as Siemens Line Designer, Process Simulate, Plant Simulation, or equivalent
  • Experience operating in a high volume production environment

Bonus Points

  • Production system design experience as part of new product development
  • Experience using LineLab production simulation software
  • Experience operating in a complex, dynamic aerospace final assembly environment

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
