What You Will Do
At Attain Partners, Grants Management Directors participate in a high-performance culture and environment to successfully generate new business opportunities, deliver sales and industry presentations, participate and close contracts for new projects, lead project delivery, manage and grow delivery teams, and participate in practice leadership.
Our directors are responsible for developing and implementing leading-edge solutions for our clients that meet and exceed business expectations. Our directors ensure the success of our multi-faceted client engagements which bring forth positive references and translates to new revenue. Through trusted client relationships, they effectively identify and cultivate continued areas of opportunity for our clients driving future business and success for Attain Partners. Our directors seek to shape the higher education, non-profit and research institution industry with new concepts and delivery models.
Job Responsibilities
- New Business Development and sales support
- Establishes and maintains client relationships and takes a leadership role to act as an influencer to client as appropriate
- Maintain visibility in market through participation and outreach
- Project Management and Delivery
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise related to the operating environment of major business functions of clients
- Provides leadership to both consulting and client personnel to identify, quantify, and implement strategic recommendations
- Develop work plans and coordinate daily fieldwork and project team activities
- Lead and focus team efforts in data gathering and analysis, data interpretation, and identifying observations and recommendations
- Lead team efforts in developing solutions to client challenges across major business functions:
- Team building. Effectively direct, coach, motivate and evaluate consultants
- Effectively manage financial performance of business unit
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) to a variety of audiences, including C-suite client leadership
Required
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree or higher preferred
- Senior Level experience in Higher Education, Non-Profit, Federal Government and/or Management Consulting; grants management and administration, regulatory compliance, cost analysis and policy, accounting, and finance
- Willingness and ability to travel for as needed or required for company, industry and customer requirements. Stay current in certifications, training and industry trends and practices
- Embraces entrepreneurial spirit in work through recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities to improve the organization
- Ability to recognize personal skills, abilities, limitations, and strengths, taking appropriate action to pursue developmental activities to strengthen skills and experience
- Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
- Experience with managing and leading teams

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging from $180,000 - $250,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
