As a Programmatic Trader, you play a critical role in connecting strategy, activation, and optimization, transforming thoughtful media plans into measurable business outcomes. Every campaign you launch, monitor, and refine helps ensure every signal sharpens the next decision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Programmatic Trader, you'll own the day-to-day execution and optimization of programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms. You'll combine technical expertise with analytical thinking to ensure campaigns perform efficiently, uncover meaningful insights, and continuously improve against client objectives.

Campaign Execution & Performance

  • Execute and optimize campaigns across platforms including Google Campaign Manager 360, DV360, The Trade Desk, and other demand-side platforms.

  • Implement, validate, and troubleshoot tracking to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.

  • Monitor pacing, delivery, and campaign health while proactively identifying opportunities and resolving issues before they impact performance.

  • Build clear, actionable reporting that translates campaign data into meaningful business insights.

  • Partner with Planning, Analytics, Ad Operations, and platform teams to ensure campaign setup aligns with strategic objectives and measurement frameworks.

Optimization & Activation

  • Develop audience targeting, bidding, and optimization strategies aligned with client business goals and audience insights.

  • Manage campaign budgets, pacing, forecasting, bid adjustments, and ongoing optimizations to maximize efficiency and performance.

  • Execute thoughtful testing strategies across audiences, creative, inventory, and bidding approaches to continuously improve results.

  • Maintain rigorous quality assurance standards throughout campaign setup, launch, and optimization.

  • Allocate investment strategically across tactics to maximize client outcomes.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.

  • Evaluate performance using Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.

  • Translate campaign results into recommendations that help internal teams and clients understand what happened, why it happened, and what should happen next.

  • Share learnings that strengthen future planning, activation strategies, and agency best practices.

Growth & Industry Expertise

  • Stay current on evolving programmatic capabilities, privacy regulations, platform enhancements, and industry trends.

  • Participate in internal training, partner sessions, and cross-functional collaboration to deepen your expertise.

  • Contribute knowledge and recommendations that help teammates and clients navigate changes across the programmatic landscape.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience & Technical Expertise

  • 1 to 2 years of experience managing campaigns within platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, MediaMath, or comparable DSPs.

  • Strong understanding of programmatic buying, audience targeting, bidding strategies, pacing, forecasting, optimization techniques, and campaign measurement.

  • Experience working across display, video, mobile, CTV, OTT, audio, and emerging programmatic channels.

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, Google Data Studio, or similar analytical tools.

  • Experience implementing campaign tracking, troubleshooting delivery issues, and validating campaign measurement.

  • Working knowledge of Google Campaign Manager 360 and digital ad serving best practices.

LOCATION

We operate on a hybrid work model designed to foster collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Employees are expected to work from the office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) to build strong relationships and collaborate closely with their teams.
