Activation - The Operators & Negotiators

We are a 1,000-piece puzzle. Each of us is essential, interconnected, and intentionally designed. Together we create something powerful: media that matters, growth that lasts, and a culture we are proud to build.

As part of our Activation team, The Operators & Negotiators, you transform strategy into action and intention into measurable outcomes. Search is one of the most powerful expressions of audience intent and brand discoverability. Whether through traditional search engines, AI-powered discovery experiences, answer engines, or large language models, this role helps brands earn visibility, credibility, and citations whenever audiences seek information and make decisions.

As a Supervisor, Search & Discoverability you are responsible for elevating the quality of the work, the thinking behind it, and the people delivering it. You lead with expertise, guide cross-functional collaboration, and help shape how search contributes to a connected media ecosystem that earns attention, action, and trust.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Supervisor, Search, you oversee integrated search programs while providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction across the discipline. You ensure teams execute with excellence, uncover meaningful opportunities, and connect search performance to broader business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated search programs with a primary focus on SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI visibility, and emerging search experiences, while ensuring paid search efforts complement broader discoverability objectives.
  • Measure and improve brand visibility across AI-powered search and discovery platforms, leveraging emerging AI visibility, citation tracking, and answer engine measurement tools to evaluate share of voice, citation frequency, entity presence, and discoverability performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency through AI-enabled processes, custom GPTs, agents, automations, and platform-native tools that enhance search strategy, research, analysis, reporting, and operational execution.
  • Translate client business objectives, audience insights, and media strategies into comprehensive search activation plans.
  • Oversee campaign activation, optimization, quality assurance, pacing, measurement, and reporting across paid search platforms.
  • Guide SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders, including keyword strategy, content optimization, technical SEO recommendations, entity development, structured data opportunities, and AI search visibility.
  • Identify opportunities where paid search, organic search, and AI-powered discovery platforms can work together to strengthen brand visibility, improve efficiency, and maximize audience engagement across the full search ecosystem.
  • Review and elevate work produced by Specialists, Senior Specialists, and Analysts, ensuring strategic rigor, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Serve as a trusted client partner, presenting performance insights, strategic recommendations, and growth opportunities with confidence and clarity.
  • Manage paid search budgets, forecasting, pacing, and investment recommendations while balancing efficiency and performance goals.
  • Partner closely with Planning, Research, Analytics, Technology, Creative, Content, and Account Services teams to ensure search strategies are integrated across the broader media ecosystem.
  • Monitor search industry trends, algorithm updates, AI search developments, large language model behavior, citation patterns, entity visibility, and evolving consumer discovery habits, translating complexity into actionable guidance for teams and clients.
  • Champion testing and innovation across Paid Search, SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-enabled search experiences, ensuring learnings are documented, shared, and scaled across the organization.
  • Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback, mentorship, delegation, and performance support.
  • Contribute to departmental process improvement, operational efficiencies, and the continued evolution of Attention Arc's search capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience & Technical Expertise

  • 5-7+ years of experience in paid search, SEO, or integrated search marketing, with demonstrated success managing complex performance programs.
  • Advanced expertise in SEO strategy, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, technical SEO platforms, content optimization tools, and search performance measurement. Working knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI visibility, citation measurement, and answer engine monitoring platforms such as Profound, Scrunch AI, AirOps, or similar emerging solutions.
  • Strong understanding of search intent, audience behavior, keyword strategy, bidding methodologies, measurement frameworks, and attribution considerations.

  • Understanding of emerging search behaviors, including AI-powered search experiences, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and large language model-driven discovery platforms.
  • Experience evaluating search visibility beyond traditional rankings, including entity authority, content discoverability, structured data implementation, and AI-generated search experiences.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, custom GPTs, agents, or workflow automations to improve research, content discovery, reporting, analysis, or operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify meaningful insights, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience managing campaign budgets, forecasting performance, and communicating investment implications to stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of automation, AI-enabled search capabilities, and emerging search technologies.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching team members within a collaborative agency environment.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
