Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A
About the Role
Attentive is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, systems, and analytics. The Senior Analyst will build recurring executive reporting, perform ad-hoc, deep-dive analysis, support financial planning processes, and support the ongoing development and maintenance of our EPM models and applications.
This is a build-and-elevate role, not just a maintenance role. You will help ensure our executive team has the clarity and insight needed to steer the company, improve reporting quality and automation, and strengthen the foundation of our planning infrastructure.
You will gain direct exposure to senior leadership, company-wide strategy, and the inner workings of a high-growth SaaS business.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Enable Executive Decision Making: Own the production of the monthly and quarterly executive reporting materials, including financial close, KPI reporting, etc.). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery while continuously improving reporting quality and clarity. Assist in maintaining reporting consistency across recurring materials and with materials from other teams.
- Tell the Story: Partner with the Corporate FP&A Manager in developing, framing, and presenting commentary to executive leadership to highlight key trends, suggest action items, and explain variances.
- Enhance Reporting Efficiency: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to streamline, automate, and strengthen recurring reporting processes.
- Deliver High-Impact Analysis: Perform financial and operational analysis to support leadership decision-making. Analyze trends, variances, and movement in key performance indicators to distill clear, actionable insights.
- Power Planning with Data: Facilitate data integration workflows into and out of Anaplan, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Perform routine audits and reconciliations to validate data between source systems and Anaplan applications.
- Support and Enhance our EPM Ecosystem: Collaborate with the EPM team to support and improve our planning application. Contribute to new functionality, troubleshoot issues, assist with testing and implementation, and develop documentation and training training materials to enable broader adoption.
Your Expertise
- Finance Experience: Finance Professional: 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Financial Systems, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or Business Intelligence.
- Finance and Business Acumen: Must have an understanding of key finance concepts, including financial statement analysis, and business metrics including standard SaaS metrics.
- Analytics Experience: Experience building complex analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence tools. Experience using Looker, Snowflake, SQL, and Python is a plus.
- EPM Experience: Experience working with EPM tools like Anaplan, Pigment, Onestream, or Adaptive is a plus.
- Attentive and Organized: Must be highly attentive to detail and possess strong organizational skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Must have an analytical mindset and the ability to frame analytical problems, gather data, and work with large datasets to distill clear, actionable insights.
- Learning and Growth Mindset: Must be curious, intent on continuously learning and developing especially. A natural interest in financial systems, automation, and process improvement is a plus.
- Strong Communicator & Presenter: Excels in written and visual communication and messaging. Ability to comfortably present complex concepts to team members and internal stakeholders in a simple and concise manner to drive alignment is critical.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think about implications of strategic choices and their impact on both upstream and downstream people and processes.
- System Experience: Familiarity with Anaplan, NetSuite, Salesforce, ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse, Looker, and Snowflake is a plus.

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000- $110,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
