Senior Social Media Manager, ATTN (LA)

What You’ll Do:
As an experienced social media manager, you think strategically and are able to lead projects internally, as well as wow clients and partners. You thrive on layering cultural tensions on top of comms priorities to drive business, and you’re always looking for new ways to break through and connect to social audiences. Your peers look to you for trends and all things social, and you fancy yourself a combination of social media strategist and brand marketer, with a strong appetite for all things social and deep expertise on LinkedIn best practices.
- Content calendar development and management
- Craft copy for ATTN:’s LinkedIn posts, coordinating with creative group for design and image-based elements
- Management of social content approvals, revisions, and publishing
- Daily LinkedIn Community Management, including identifying opportunities for engagement on other entities’ posts and comments
- Monitor and engage with posts, messages, & comments
- Connect with internal leaders for new project highlights
- Manage, edit, and review weekly Attention Sparks series, covering the latest social trends and the larger cultural zeitgeist
- Weekly meeting with Sparks team of community strategists
- Weekly recommendation of social trend to highlight to marketers in video version of Attention Sparks, as well as getting alignment from partners for publishing
- Long-form content creation based on speaking engagements
- Ad hoc requests related to ATTN: Marketing
- Social Content Performance Analysis, with emphasis on LinkedIn
Who You Are:
- 7+ years at a creative shop or brand side in social media management role
- LinkedIn expertise is a must, with strong knowledge of the broader social landscape
- Ability to anticipate brand opportunities and messaging needs, being proactive and meeting fast deadlines
- Ability to understand cultural issues and tensions and explain them verbally and in deck form
- Ability to identify audience specific trends and opportunities on social platforms
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Passion for great storytelling
- Ability to translate GenZ and Millennial audience insights and tensions into marketer relevant messaging, with a clear POV and takeaways
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals across all levels, backgrounds, lived experiences, and perspectives
- Great client/partner skills, and passionate about presenting and work-shopping complex projects with the knowledge and experience to back it up
Compensation:
This position has an estimated annual salary range of $105-$120K. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.
Candidates must be based in Los Angeles or New York. This will be a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in office in LA and 1 day in the office in New York.
