Key Responsibilities:
- Network Management:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network switches to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Administer and update firmware, configurations, and policies firewalls.
- Manage internet connections, ensuring stability and redundancy.
- Monitor and optimize performance for wireless access points, ensuring seamless connectivity and coverage.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Use network monitoring tools to proactively detect and respond to device or office outages.
- Respond to network outages, degraded performance, or security incidents in a timely manner.
- Work support desk for any network related tickets (Connectivity, VPN, firewall or wireless connections)
- Troubleshoot Microsoft windows related connection issues
- Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues.
- Security & Compliance:
- Assist in enforcing network security policies and procedures.
- Maintain firewall rules, access controls, and VPN configurations.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date network documentation including diagrams, IP address management, and inventory.
- Provide regular status reports on network health, incidents, and improvements.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support business operations.
- Assist in network-related projects including upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, SD-WAN and/or related technologies.
- Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and best practices.
- Proficient with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
Work Environment: This role will require occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance or emergencies. Some travel between sites may also be necessary.
Location: This role can be located in Austin, TX, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Scottsdale, AZ

Pay Range
$95,000 - $161,000 USD
