Job Description

Atwell is seeking a Senior Marketing Systems Associate to support and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem across our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, CRM, analytics, and process improvement — someone who understands how digital marketing systems connect, can translate marketing and communications needs into technical requirements, and can help teams use platforms more effectively.

This role will support the implementation, optimization, and adoption of HubSpot Marketing Hub and related CRM-connected marketing systems. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Communications, IT, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure our platforms are connected, our campaign data is meaningful, and our digital marketing efforts are measurable and actionable.

The right candidate will bring hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, CRM systems, digital marketing analytics, customer journey mapping, reporting, and platform rollouts. You do not need to be a developer or software engineer, but you should be comfortable discussing system functionality, integrations, APIs, data flow, and platform optimization with technical teams.

This is a 100% remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the setup, optimization, and ongoing use of HubSpot Marketing Hub and related CRM-connected marketing workflows.

  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, IT, and external consultants on HubSpot implementation, platform integrations, rollout planning, and system optimization.

  • Help translate marketing and communications needs into clear technical or system requirements for IT and implementation partners.

  • Support CRM-connected marketing activity, including segmentation, campaign tracking, reporting structures, workflow functionality, and marketing automation.

  • Analyze digital marketing, CRM, and customer journey data to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities to improve campaign performance.

  • Pull data from CRM and marketing platforms, interpret findings, and present actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain dashboards and reports that measure campaign performance, lead generation, engagement, website activity, and business development outcomes.

  • Support customer journey mapping and help identify opportunities to improve campaign touchpoints, audience engagement, and conversion paths.

  • Evaluate marketing workflows and platform capabilities to recommend improvements that reduce manual work, improve visibility, and help Atwell use its systems to their full potential.

  • Support user adoption through training, documentation, process guides, and best-practice recommendations.

  • Stay current on HubSpot Marketing Hub updates, CRM capabilities, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing technology trends.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing systems support broader business development, communications, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information systems, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, marketing systems, marketing analytics, CRM, or platform administration.

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub is required.

  • CRM experience is required, including the ability to pull data, identify insights, and present findings to internal stakeholders.

  • Experience with digital marketing analytics, campaign performance reporting, customer journey mapping, lead generation, marketing attribution, or lifecycle marketing.

  • Experience supporting the implementation, rollout, adoption, or optimization of a marketing technology platform, CRM, or digital marketing system.

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, email marketing, CRM-connected campaigns, analytics tools, CMS platforms, and integration concepts.

  • Ability to communicate with both marketing and technical teams, including translating business needs into system requirements.

  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, workflow automation, platform connectivity, or database concepts; developer or engineering experience is not required.

  • B2B experience required; AEC, professional services, consulting, engineering, construction, real estate, land development, or energy industry experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, interpret data, and recommend practical improvements.

  • Strong project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams and time zones.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting HubSpot Marketing Hub implementation or optimization.

  • Experience working with CRM-connected marketing campaigns and marketing automation workflows.

  • Experience partnering with IT, implementation consultants, or systems teams.

  • Experience creating dashboards, reporting structures, or campaign performance reports.

  • Experience supporting platform adoption, user training, documentation, or change management.

  • Experience in AEC, professional services, engineering, construction, environmental, real estate, land development, power, renewable energy, or infrastructure-related industries.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
