About the role
As a Manager of Conversion Rate Optimization, your primary objective will be to lead and optimize the conversion rates across our websites. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance user experience, remove barriers to conversion, and maximize online performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (product marketing, marketing ops, analytics, performance marketing), you will employ data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities, conduct A/B and multivariate testing, and drive continuous optimization efforts. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in digital marketing, data analysis, and a passion for optimizing conversion rates.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.
What will you be doing?
- Utilize analytical tools (Google Analytics, Segment, Looker, and others) to conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion funnels, and website performance to identify and address barriers and friction points in the conversion process to optimize user experience and drive higher conversion rates.
- Quickly develop a strong understanding of goals and objectives for each product and develop a list of ways that CRO can help support to attain them.
- Create and implement a comprehensive strategic CRO roadmaps in alignment with the product teams.
- Work closely with partners in design and development to brainstorm fresh creative, copy, and layouts for testing across the site.
- Plan, execute, build, and analyze, and report on A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of optimization efforts.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to conversion rates, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable reports and presentations, highlighting conversion rate optimization performance and recommendations for improvement.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on conversion rate optimization, user experience, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record of successfully roadmapping, implementing, and managing CRO initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements in conversion rates and business outcomes through A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.
- Exceptional project management and communication skills so all stakeholders have a clear view into planned tests, projected results, and key learnings.
- Expert proficiency in A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize
- Front-end Development experience (HTML, CSS, JS) to support the build out of tests
- Working knowledge within data analysis tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, etc.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively utilizing strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and data-driven insights to diverse stakeholders (including executive)
