About the role

At Auctane, our Brand Marketing team brings our brand to life—through creative, content, campaigns, and experiences that build a connection with our audience and move them to action. We’re looking for a Sr. Video Content Manager to help fuel business growth through high-impact video that connects emotionally with our audience and delivers results.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience directing, shooting, producing and editing a variety of content across short, mid, and long-form video needs. You’ll manage all aspects of the production lifecycle, from concept development through final delivery, while collaborating with peers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and exceptional quality standards.

This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel required.

What will you be doing?

Full Cycle Video & Audio Production

  • Independently own and manage end-to-end video production — from ideation and storyboarding to shooting, editing, and final delivery.

  • Serve as the lead on all live-action and in-studio productions, directing talent, setting up multi-camera shoots, and managing lighting, audio, and livestreaming setups.

  • Supervise post-production workflows, including editing, sound design, color correction, and VO production, ensuring quality and consistency across all content.

  • Lead all on-site production logistics—including equipment planning, travel coordination, and shoot setup—often working solo while collaborating remotely with stakeholders.

  • Own all audio production needs, recording and editing voiceovers for a wide range of video content.

  • Independently manage all aspects of sound production—ensuring clean, consistent quality through editing, leveling, noise reduction, VO syncing, and seamless integration.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive production documentation, including shot lists, storyboards, and technical specifications, ensuring seamless execution of complex video projects.

  • Lead company photography efforts for events and internal initiatives—often managing shoots solo, delivering edited and retouched assets under tight timelines.

 

Creative Strategy & Brand Storytelling

  • Proactively pitch and lead creative video concepts that elevate the brand and connect with audiences, including but not limited to executive messaging, customer stories, explainers, GTM and campaign hype videos and motion graphics.

  • Drive innovation in visual storytelling by incorporating motion graphics and design systems using tools like Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other creative software.

  • Establishes and enforces technical and creative standards for video content, ensuring consistency across all corporate communications while adapting to various platforms and audience needs.

 

Technology & Equipment Oversight:

  • Manage and maintain the full suite of video equipment and production spaces, including studio setup, relocation planning, and creative set design.

  • Leverage AI and other industry-leading technologies and methodologies, and continuously evaluate and implement emerging trends to enhance production capabilities and efficiency.

 

Cross-functional & External Collaboration:

  • Deliver visible, high-priority projects on tight turnarounds, including executive-level communications for the CEO and C-suite.

  • Work with freelancers, agencies, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on creative vision, brand guidelines, and storytelling goals.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and industry partners to ensure access to specialized equipment and expertise when needed.

What are we looking for?

  • A seasoned video professional with 5+ years of experience in hands-on production, post-production, and creative development across multiple formats and channels.
  • A high-level individual contributor who operates with autonomy, professionalism, and calm—even in fast-paced or high-stakes environments.
  • A creative storyteller who can confidently pitch ideas to cross-functional partners and lead the execution of compelling brand narratives.
  • Technically skilled across all aspects of video production: shooting, lighting, audio, editing, live streaming, and motion graphics.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and Figma, with experience in Wistia, Vimeo, livestreaming gear, and various audio tools.
  • Trusted by leadership to deliver critical messaging with care and polish—especially when representing the voice of the CEO or executive team.
  • Resourceful and proactive, able to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of video workflows, asset management, and content versioning.
  • Continuously evolving and expanding your creative toolset—seeking new ways to push boundaries in storytelling and design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates excellence across a range of video styles, formats, and creative executions.
