About the role
The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for driving mid and lower-funnel customer growth by building a diverse acquisition strategy to drive leads, trials and subscriptions across all Auctane products globally i.e. Stamps, Endicia, ShipStation, ShippingEasy, ShipEngine and GlobalPost.
You’ll work closely with teams across Data and Analytics, Brand, Finance, Sales, Product/Engineering, Partner Marketing and Demand Generation to ensure campaigns align with business goals and are delivering measurable outcomes.
Reporting to the Vice President of Growth Marketing, this is a critical revenue-driving role and perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving and data and knows how to drive business outcomes above all else.
What will you be doing?
- Drive customer global acquisition and revenue growth for each brand leveraging various marketing channels such as Paid Social, SEM/PPC, LinkedIn, Programmatic, Affiliates and Direct Mail.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of results-orientation, experimentation and continuous learning.
- Work closely with the Director of Media and Top-of-Funnel acquisition to build and execute a cohesive and diverse marketing strategy across the customer lifecycle.
- Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies, using data, analytics and a/b testing to inform decisions, identify growth opportunities and optimize campaigns to maximize growth and CLV/CAC.
- Champion our test-and-learn agenda, continuously refining and optimizing existing tactics while actively identifying new channels and strategies - with a focus on measurable impact and scalability.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams like Product, Engineering and Data Science to unlock and amplify marketing outcomes via automation, landing page optimization and CRO.
- Partner closely with Finance to manage budgets, optimize spending decisions to maximize outcomes and forecast channel performance on a monthly basis
- Routinely report out to CMO and Leadership on performance and strategic direction, as well as to secure the resources needed to achieve company-wide goals.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field required
- 10+ years experience building and optimizing channels like Paid Social, SEM, SEO, display, TV, radio/podcast, affiliate, influencers, print, and direct mail
- People management experience for more than 5 years required, developing exceptional marketers
- Disciplined in both B2B/SaaS and B2C marketing
- Proven successes driving acquisition across borders and global markets
- Proven successes with implementation of industry best practices for performance marketing
- Demonstration of experience and/or training/certification in content and creative selection, demand generation, performance marketing and channel marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Take decisive action by leveraging data to inform strategy and recommendations
- Highly technical, having learned and managed a variety of tools
- Collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure everyone is informed and bought in
- A great communicator and storyteller who can turn complex data into insights
- Skilled in sourcing, evaluating, selecting, and growing relationships with the best partner agencies
