POSITION SUMMARY:

Audax Group is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join its highly collaborative Human Resources team and help support the New York Office’s employees and business. In this role, you’ll provide day-to-day operational support for onboarding / off-boarding, talent acquisition, benefits, performance management, and various internal projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional communication, proven ability to take ownership and should be a natural problem solver. This role will report to the Vice President, Human Resources, based in New York, and partner closely with the Human Resource team based in Boston.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Onboarding / Off boarding & Benefits

  • Provide support to the Human Resource team to ensure seamless onboarding in Greenhouse and relevant HRIS systems, & off-boarding process.
  • Assist with new hire scheduling and on-going training initiatives.
  • Answer day-to-day employee questions about benefits and HR processes regarding enrollment and plan specific questions.
  • Help plan the intern program experience by coordinating summer events, training sessions, and intern review process.

Performance Management

  • Assist in administrative and coordination aspects of the performance review process for Private Debt and NY Operations teams.
  • Support the review process by helping with updating review and other internal data systems with changes, material assembly, review scheduling, printing, distribution, and document management at end of process.
  • Manage tracking and follow-up of feedback and submissions.
  • Help monitor conference rooms and participants for review sessions.

Talent Acquisition / Recruiting

  • Own the candidate experience by scheduling and monitoring all virtual and in person interviews.
  • Greet candidates on-site, monitor interview schedule, and attend to candidate while they are at Audax to help recruiting process run smoothly.
  • Assist in updating descriptions as necessary; oversee status of postings and perform periodic quality checks to ensure internal and external job postings are in line with established standards.
  • Serve as a contact for candidates and interviewers throughout the interview day, promptly resolving any scheduling conflicts if they arise.
  • Provide Greenhouse system support including helping with job posting, trouble shooting and rolling out system updates.
  • Assist in maintaining weekly job requisition trackers, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

Other

  • Stay connected to new and changing local NYC and NY state laws and assist HR Vice President and Associate to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of the New York Office’s employee initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and metrics using our HRIS, as needed.
  • Support and own special projects, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 1+ years of Human Resources coordination and administration experience, in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with capability to effectively manage time, priorities, and projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, be resourceful, and work in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality with discretion and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Dayforce, Greenhouse, UKG, Lattice or other HCM platforms preferred.

TRAVEL:

  • Occasional travel may be required to our Boston office.

 

LOCATION: New York, NY. 4 days/week in office. Additional days may be necessary based on needs of the team. These in-office requirements may change based on the needs of the business. 

FOR NEW YORK CITY ONLY: The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $75,00]. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
