Recruiting Manager

Summary
Reporting to the Vice President – Human Resources, the Recruiting Manager is responsible for all US professional recruiting, working closely with leaders and HR team for all companies. This position will develop US staffing strategies/plans and ensure each business and location is staffed appropriately while continually leading process improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fills all job openings and manages recruiting needs including posting positions, resume searches/reviews, partnering with hiring managers to determine needs, setting up interviews, conducting phone screens/interviews, making offers, preparing offer letters/approvals, etc
- Sources and recruits both active and passive candidates using job boards, social media, cold calling, job fairs, referrals, college visits, etc.
- Manages temporary and permanent staffing agencies/contracts to ensure that recruiting needs are being fulfilled.
- Organizes job descriptions for effective postings by speaking to department managers and compiling details.
- Ensures the candidate experience (from application to hire/no hire) is positive, representing a customer service-focused approach and dispositioning all candidates.
- Maintains up-to-date open position status reports and communicates with leadership on progress and strategies
- Manages intern, college relations, and rotational employee programs
- Develops an overall staffing protocol including the hiring process, internal applications, employee referrals, and requisition procedures
- Manages and maintains the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Develops a sourcing pipeline of candidates for frequently recruited positions.
- Leads employer branding campaign.
- Assists with production staffing, working closely with HR Generalists and HR Director
- Manages salaried headcount annual plan to budget.
- Interviews for managerial and technical positions with a focus on strengthening the leadership capability of the companies.
- Administers pre-employment testing and vendors throughout all US locations
- Manage the expatriate offer and hiring process, including visas and green cards for employment eligibility.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with hiring managers
- Collaborates with the Global Training and Development Manager to facilitate manager interviews and ATS training
- Collaborates with Global Compensation and Benefits Director on compensation packages
- Provides data and metrics related to time to hire, cost ratios, sourcing, retention, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Leads and assist with various HR department projects and objectives.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Staffing and Recruiting; leading the function is preferred
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ATS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Keen focus on delivering results utilizing business acumen skills
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Able to travel to career fairs, as needed.
