The Role

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Specialist to join our amazing team of mission-driven individuals. The role will be responsible for engaging in-store customer traffic and educating potential customers about our hearing solutions to enable them live more connected and empowered lives. It's a consultative sales process that involves on-the-feet problem solving, empathy and tenacity.

The role is perfect for an energetic, empathetic self-starter with direct selling experience looking for the next challenge, who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and wants to play a vital role in a fast-growing startup. The role involves building relationships through multiple touch-points and delivering an exceptional experience at every point along the way.

Gaithersburg, MD

Compensation Range: 

$25-33/hr +  commission 

Schedule

Ability  to work onsite

Availability to work some weekends

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional consultative sales experience to our in store customers
  • Effectively communicate our unique offering and mission to prospective customers
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and conversion methods
  • Be there to provide guidance and support for customers throughout each stage of their hearing journey
  • Become a product expert - being able to give our customers a best-in-class experience means you'll need to be comfortable and well-versed in areas relating to hearing aids, hearing loss and hearing health.
  • Provide key insights to operations, sales, and marketing teams to help identify issues, inform decisions, create learnings and drive change
  • Provide basic customer support to your customers who come back with questions or need help

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in sales and managing a pipeline (direct to consumer experience preferred)
  • Effective at driving store traffic and promoting products
  • Customer service - providing consultative support to customers
  • Consistently drives for results
  • Adaptable and eager to learn and contribute
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required
